The Artisan Album

It’s HERE! It’s finally HERE!

And I absolutely LOVE IT.

You guys… I scoured dozens of print labs looking for something unique to offer you.

You see, you all can easily go to Mpix or Walmart and get a flat lay hard page photo album these days. And since I give you the digitals, you can make your own album.

(although will you REALLY take the time to make it? – that’s for another post)

I don’t like to be status quo. I want to be, no, I AM different. And the product line I am offering is as unique as I am.

I can tell you that no one around here has access to the products I carry. Not only did I have to prove that I was a legit business and jump through a shit ton of hoops, but I also had to complete MULTIPLE phone interviews. Just to be allowed to offer these products.

The Artisan Album

The Artisan is handcrafted in Italy. ITALY! Real Italian leather, hand stitching. As you know by now, I have an obsession with leather bound journals.

The old-time ness. The feel of the soft leather, the hand torn pages.

They smell like adventure. They feel luxurious. They make me think of strength, fortitude, forging new paths, bravery.

They speak to my soul with whispers of poetry, old fashioned love letters with wax seals, old fashioned romance.

The Artisan Album is a leather journal album. Handcrafted by one family for generations.

The Materials

They use Amalfi paper. A handmade cotton paper from Amalfi Italy made by the Amatruda family.

The family that creates this paper still uses the same techniques that they have used for 300 years to create this high-end exclusive paper, with deckled, hand torn pages. No two pages will ever be the same.

This exquisite piece is one of a kind. Unique. Romantic. A true statement keepsake to pass down in your family for generations.

I believe in the importance of printed images. One day your floppy disk, CD, SD, USB’s will all be obsolete technology. You won’t even be able to view your images. Social media could crash or hacked and all your digitals lost.

When I was little I loved sitting on the sofa and looking through my grandmas albums of all the photos of our family. There is just something about holding an album in your hand and being able to touch the images.

How to order

Some of you might be thinking “I would love one, but what if I don’t have that much money at once?” Well let me erase that for you. We offer payment plans for those who wish to spread out the cost over a period of time.
